Las Vegas, NV. (December 17^th, 2014) – The newly founded Zen Poker Mentoring proudly presents its debut session of premier poker instruction, which will be held at the MEET Las Vegas special events center over the course of two days between Saturday, February 21^st and Sunday, February 22^nd.

Led by two-time World Series of Poker champion Brian Rast – an accomplished pro who has earned more than $6.9 million in live tournaments alone – the first edition of Zen Poker Mentoring will revolve around comprehensive 52-minute instruction sessions. With a World Poker Tour high roller victory to his credit as well, Rast is widely recognized by his peers in the poker community as one of the game’s most brilliant thinkers, and he is happy to share his knowledge with aspiring players while serving as Zen Poker Mentoring’s co-founder and lead pro.

During each 52-minute instruction session Rast will offer personalized advice on all aspects of poker’s strategic foundations, allowing participants to parlay his expertise into improvements within their own game. When the instruction ends, and new concepts are still fresh in the mind, participants will then have the chance to ask questions on an individual basis, with Rast and the Zen Poker Mentoring team offering direct answers, solutions, and other feedback. Immediately following this Q&A session participants will engage in interactive Hand Labs, exercises which transform lectures and lessons into a live, hands-on learning experience using real felt, flops, and folds.

In addition to Rast’s elite level of poker expertise, participants in the Zen Poker Mentoring two-day program will enjoy access to host Kristy Arnett and her modern approach to Wellness Coaching. As an aspiring poker pro in her own right, Arnett recently transitioned from a successful career as a poker reporter – hosting and producing thousands of videos and podcasts while working for PokerNews and Card Player Magazine – and today she grinds Las Vegas and California’s lucrative cash game scene for a living. With her other passions involving health, wellness, and personal training, Arnett will show participants how to improve their poker performance by remaining mindful of their physical fitness, breathing, and stamina.

Rast and Arnett will be joined by Vanessa Rousso, an accomplished professional player who ranks as one of the winningest women in the game. With more than $3.5 million in live earnings to her credit, as well as numerous accomplishments on the virtual felt, Rousso will give participants a glimpse into the process of Reading and Decoding Behavior at the tables. The game’s greats have always relied on their ability to decipher even the most impenetrable poker faces, searching for tells while sizing up their opponents, and Rousso will reveal effective ways to improve your behavior reading abilities.

Zen Poker Mentoring believes in the idea of achieving poker enlightenment, and to that end a whole host of supplementary services will be provided for participants. A licensed chiropractor will make an appearance to discuss the impact that sitting at a poker table for hours on end can have on your body, while also providing simple methods to relieve and remove undue stress on your neck, back, and knees. Massage therapists will help participants attain maximum relaxation while running through intensive Hand Labs, while a nutritionist will be on hand to offer dietary and meal planning advice specifically designed with poker players in mind. Mind Coach and Hypnotherapist Elliot Roe will also provide a poker-based hypnotherapy session to help participants focus on the knowledge being imparted throughout the course. In order to gain a true advantage in poker, Zen Poker Mentoring believes the path should begin by aligning the mind, the body, and the soul with a sincere desire to succeed. Our unique approach to poker instruction teaches all aspects of the game, and more importantly, coaches participants on aspects of their lifestyle which can directly and indirectly affect performance and profitability on the felt.

Location Information: We are proud to be holding the debut of our two-day Zen Poker Mentoring session at MEET Las Vegas, a world-class special event destination located in the heart of Sin City’s historic Downtown district. This unique event and meeting venue received the 2013 Event Solutions Event Site of the Year award, and with just a short three-minute walk separating the event center from The D Las Vegas Hotel and Casino, participants will be centrally located in terms of nearby dining, entertainment, and gaming venues.

The first 15 people to register for the two-day Zen Poker Mentoring course will receive a free two-night stay at the The D, and if for any reason participants require assistance to from the hotel to the event center, we will provide transportation there and back.
